💬 HOW BUYING ON ZANKY WORKS

 

1️⃣ Contact the Seller First (Required)

Before making any payment, buyers must first chat with the seller using the WhatsApp button on the item page to:

• Confirm the item is still available

• Ask for more pictures or videos

• Confirm delivery options

• Agree on the final price (if negotiable)

👉 This step helps buyers verify item details before payment.

 

2️⃣ Agree on Delivery

After confirming the item with the seller, both buyer and seller should agree on delivery.

For secure deliveries, Zanky currently supports:

• GIG Logistics — Nationwide delivery

• Kwik Delivery — Lagos deliveries

⚠️ Cars, properties, and certain services are NOT covered under Zanky secure payment protection.

 

3️⃣ Make Secure Payment on Zanky

Once the buyer confirms everything with the seller:

• Payment is made securely on Zanky using Paystack

• Zanky temporarily holds the money securely

• The seller is immediately notified to deliver the item

💡 This helps protect both buyers and sellers during transactions.

 

4️⃣ Seller Delivers the Item

The seller delivers the item using the agreed delivery method.

The buyer can track and manage orders from their Buyer Dashboard.

 

5️⃣ Buyer Confirms Delivery

After receiving the item, the buyer should:

• Open their Buyer Dashboard

• Press the “Confirm Delivery” button

Once confirmed, Zanky releases the payment to the seller.

 

6️⃣ 48-Hour Buyer Protection Window

After the seller marks the item as delivered:

• The buyer has 48 hours to:

  • Confirm delivery, OR

  • Raise an issue/report a problem

If no issue is raised within 48 hours, the payment is automatically released to the seller.

👉 This system helps ensure fair and secure transactions for both parties.

• Zanky secure payment protection currently excludes:

  • Cars

  • Properties

  • Certain services
